About

I started off in Horticulture doing grass cutting and small jobs for friends & family aged 15. When I decided I wanted to pursue it as a career, I spent 2 years studying at Writtle University College and working as an apprentice with a well respected local horticulture & landscaping company, where I gained on-site experience and expanded my skills.

I also trained with highly rated Arborist school Kingswood Training to get my City & Guilds chainsaw and felling tickets.

I became self employed with the goal of starting my own business, and spent several years working in private gardens and subcontracting for landscaping companies to build up a customer base. This is where I met many of the hard-working, knowledgeable people who work alongside me on larger jobs today.

I have always loved being outdoors and working with my hands.

Pond Pondscaping Aquatic Landscaping Planting Essex

I worked on a wide range of projects in many areas of the landscaping & groundworks industry, before eventually deciding to specialise in my passion; plants and trees.

I enjoy planting because every garden is a new creative challenge and I find it incredibly satisfying to transform spaces with plants which will last for years to come.

In recent years, as I have become responsible for larger gardens, I have taken a keen interest in traditional land management techniques, such as hedge laying, scythe mowing of wildflower meadows & sustainable woodland management.
